Vision Fair Foundation Scholarship

The 2025 Scholarship Application Is Now Open

The Vision Fair Foundation is an affiliate of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.®, Tau Alpha Omega Chapter located in Redford, Michigan. In keeping with our goal of supporting higher education for young people in Wayne County, we are pleased to announce the application process for our scholarship awards.

The value of the Vision Fair Foundation (VFF) scholarship is $8,000. Two thousand dollars ($2,000) will be distributed over four years provided the student maintains a 2.8 or higher-grade point average in each year in which he/she is pursuing a degree. Other scholarship awards will be given to outstanding students who have applied for the Vision Fair Foundation.

Applicants must fulfill the requirements stated below:

• Graduating senior attending a high school located in Wayne County
• Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.8 or higher
• Provide a list of extracurricular and community activities over the past two years (two letters of recommendation)
• Submit official transcript
• Submit copies of acceptance letter(s)
• Complete a personal essay that states your goals and objectives and how they relate to your chosen major
• Interview with the Scholarship Committee
• Complete the online application
